Basking in the excitement of their recent engagement, Denise and Thomas decided there was only one way to celebrate: by throwing an epic garden party! Not only was it the perfect way to mark their exciting new chapter, but it also gave both sides of the family a chance to mingle and bond – no stiff intros or awkward small talk here!
With the sun beaming down and summer in full swing, the couple’s spacious back garden was the ideal venue. But don’t be fooled – this wasn’t your average patch of grass and patio set. We’re talking about a dreamy setup with a pergola for shade, an outdoor bar to keep the drinks flowing, and an entertainment lodge just in case the weather decided to gatecrash. Luckily, the skies stayed clear, and the vibes were just as bright.
Music was a big part of the day, too. Denise and Thomas’ best friend offered up their band for the afternoon, and let’s just say – they rocked it. From romantic ballads to dance-worthy hits, the live music kept the energy high and the dance floor busy.
And then, there was the food. Oh, the food…
The couple knew they needed a culinary centrepiece to match the celebration, and they hit the jackpot with Hog Roast Altrincham. They opted for our Full Classic Menu, a fan-favourite that showcases our signature spit-roasted hog, complete with golden crackling, juicy pulled pork, and sage and onion stuffing lovingly cooked in pork juices. Yes – it tasted as good as it sounds.
But the feast didn’t stop there. Guests could choose from marinated chicken thighs, butcher’s sausages, or BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls for our plant-based pals. With sides like applesauce, crisp green salad, creamy coleslaw, tomato and mozzarella salad, and a duo of traditional and sweet potato fries – Hog Roast Altrincham made sure everyone left with happy bellies and full hearts.
With laughter echoing through the garden, glasses clinking, and plates piled high, Denise and Thomas’ pre-wedding bash turned out to be everything an engaged couple could dream of – and more.
From all of us at Hog Roast Altrincham: cheers to the happy couple, and thanks for letting us be part of such a magical day!
